The Resideo Braukmann L5 WiFi Water Leak Shutoff Valve is the professional-grade solution: installed on the main water line, it detects a leak through the included sensor cable or a paired Resideo WiFi leak detector, then automatically closes the ball valve and shuts off the water supply before damage can spread.

Built on more than 100 years of Braukmann water engineering, the L5 is designed for professional installation in about ten minutes and homeowner management through the Resideo app. It pairs WiFi connectivity, automatic shutoff, and a lead-free ball valve into a single UL-listed device.

Where to install: Mount the L5 on the main water line, downstream of the main shutoff valve and pressure reducing valve (if present). It can be installed in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or angled. Do not install upstream of a pressure tank, on systems with an external hot water source, or on fire sprinkler or suppression lines.
