The L8148 Aquastat® Relays are immersion hydronic controllers designed to provide high limit safety while managing burner and circulator motor operation through relay switching. These immersion controllers ensure the burner circuit opens exclusively at the high limit. Certain models feature a built-in transformer and terminals for connecting a remote low limit controller. The unit’s casing supports both horizontal and vertical installation. It requires a 24 Vac thermostat equipped with a 0.2A heat anticipator for proper functionality.
